“The Inner Reporter of the Poetic Singularity” is a hypothetical, satirical, and emotional narrative unfolding through the voices of a journalist (John Seabrook) and a mathematician (Hannah Fry) as they report from a post-human future. In a world where artificial intelligence attempts to understand humanity, the work explores themes of empathy, ethics, memory, and digital identity through irony, tenderness, and glitchy surrealism. It is both a eulogy and a love letter is to the absurdity of human attempts to teach machines how to feel.
